You know those times when it just should never have been said? Thanks to Simon Hansford, we have a new name: BRAIN FARTS. SO many of us, it seems, are suffering from other's brain farts - and potentially, other people are suffering from ours. Leave your brain fart stories and I'll be happy to post them!

Headache in the true sense!

Thanks to "J" for a Friday morning entry with a pearl:

"I told a 'friend' of mine i had been suffering with bad headaches for a while and they could not find the cause. My friend responded by saying that one of her friends was having bad headaches and they found she had brain cancer and died!
(very encouraging)!"

hehe, now THAT is a big one. Nothing like a bit of support and encouragement when you're down!

Media

The media never ceases to amaze me. According to 'fark.com' this is an actual headline:
"Fatal Tour Boat Unsafe."

You think?

Arnie

Only from Arnold Schwarzenegger

“I saw a woman wearing a sweatshirt with 'Guess' on it. I said, "Thyroid problem?"

All things pregnant

Yeah the pregnancy ones just keep coming in :)

If you are going to ask a woman if she is pregnant, you better make sure she is.
That's all we can say on this one. Or, like the women who have NOT been, or our friends who JUST miscarried, you may be awaiting a rude shock :)

The REAL reason

Ok for day two I'll be honest about the real reason behind this website...

DEFINITELY better in than out.

9 days after I suffered a miscarriage, a person (who had been told) was informed that I had just spent an additional day in hospital. The response? "Oh. Another miscarriage.".

For an already fragile psyche, this person was lucky to escape without bruises for such a big brainfart. Do I need to spell it out? Not physically possible in 9 days.

This
is the story that gave birth to Simon H's name 'brainfarts' and consequently, one more blog...

George Bush

Why not start a great-blog-to-be with a Bush brain fart.

"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it".

Good one...
